01. The Challenge
GoDaddy’s Latin America team approached us to overcome several limitations affecting their organic growth in the region.
They lacked specialized resources—such as in-house SEO experts and web content creators with deep knowledge of the Latin American market—making it difficult to develop a robust strategy in key countries like Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
Additionally, most content was being produced from the United States, presenting a clear opportunity to optimize existing materials and create new content aligned with an SEO strategy designed to strengthen their search engine visibility across the region.
02. The Solution
A brand positioning audit was conducted in Google across the target countries to give the company a clear view of where it stood—and how its competitors were performing—in each market.
Based on the results of that audit, the strategy focused resources on several key areas, including:
SEO Audit
A comprehensive audit was conducted to identify technical and content-related issues limiting the organic performance of product pages and blog content in search engines.
Based on this analysis, a set of prioritized recommendations was developed to improve the hosting company’s visibility across five Latin American countries—strengthening its positioning with key local audiences.
Regional SEO positioning strategy
An SEO positioning strategy was designed with a focus on five priority Spanish-speaking countries, taking into account the unique characteristics of each market.
As a starting point, high-conversion, high-potential organic keywords were mapped and prioritized by country to ensure that efforts targeted locally relevant search terms.
These findings were used to define specific optimization plans per market, factoring in local competitor differentiation and the priority product lines in each region.
Vertical content strategy
An integrated content strategy was implemented, beginning with a detailed audit of existing assets across the five countries to identify risks such as duplicate content or keyword cannibalization between blog articles and product pages.
Based on this assessment, high-performing content originally created in English was localized and adapted to the cultural and linguistic context of Latin America to maximize local relevance.
New content was also created to deliver value to target audiences—aligned with their needs and decision-making stages—while existing materials were optimized to strengthen their ability to rank organically in priority markets.
Domain authority building
A strategy was developed to increase domain authority through the creation of relevant content and the acquisition of high-quality backlinks in key markets.
This approach helped strengthen the brand’s presence in priority countries, outperform top competitors in organic search results, and consolidate GoDaddy’s leadership in the local digital landscape.
